Blood Oath contest

Here's the video trailer for Blood Oath. Love the music! And if this doesn't make you want to read the book, well, I don't know what will. Maybe a contest?

Yep, as promised I have a shiny hardcover of Blood Oath looking for a new home and all you have to do is answer this question:

Since the book has been optioned for a movie deal, who would you want to see cast a Nathaniel Cade? I've included pictures of my 2 picks because my ideal varied throughout the course of the book. If you haven't read the book, just think of a hot action hero/vampire.

Contest rules:

*The contest is open until midnight EST May 30th.
*Only open to U.S. residents
*Please leave an email if your profile doesn't list one so that I can contact you.

  2. I haven't read the book so I can't pick an actor.

  3. Hmmm...haven't read the book but, I remember your review mentioning that it had a lot of action in it so I think I'd go with either Jason Statham (Snatch, The Transporter, Crank) or Hugh Jackman.

Thanks for the contest. I've had this book on my radar for a while.

  4. I really want to read this book. Since I haven't yet, I'll rely on the recaps I've read and agree with you that Clive Owen would be quite convincing as the president's tough-guy vampire agent who consistently denies himself earthly pleasures. Thanks for the contest.

  6. I haven't read the book yet either, but I agree that Clive Owen would be a great pick. Of course, I think he's a great pick for any hot action role.

  12. I agree that Clive Owen would be a great choice. The first actor that came to my head though was Jeffery Dean Morgan.

  13. I have never actually managed to read this post because I go straight to the photo of Clive. If you want people to read what you write, post less captivating photos.

  14. I looked up Jeffery Dean Morgan and decided that he'd be an excellent secret agent. I couldn't place the name to a face.

Jason Statham would be great too! So many hunky guys to choose from.

And Marta might be right about Clive being a distraction but what nice eye candy he makes:) Sometimes research for this blog can be so tedious- HA!

  15. I'd also say Hugh Jackman.

  16. All those choices are great but I am going with an old timer and going to say YULE BRENNER from The King And I. He was sexy as hell as a king and would be even sexier with fangs. :)

  17. Brad Pitt. He already has vamp experience, and he looks good in anything. :)
