Author Spotlight: Dawn Cook

Dawn Cook is a fantasy writer known for the Decoy Princess and Truth series. She also happens to be NYT bestseller, Kim Harrison. Her story, With Friends Like These, is about two roommates that are willing to go the distance in the name of friendship. The story is completely separate from the Hallows and it isn't your typical vampire romance. Take a sec and visit Kim's Drama and her main website- lots of information about her books, appearances, music, FAQ's and lots more.

Hi Anna :)
I had no idea Dawn Cook was also Kim Harrison. Thanks for the post, and the covers.
I wonder why authors use pseudonyms?
Is it for a different genre or tax purposes?
Thanks again,

I didn't know either! I'm going to have to find the dawn Cook titles. I think pseudonyms serve the purpose of allowing authors to switch genres- but it doesn't make much sense if the pseudonym is widely known as being just a pen name. Why bother at that point? However, it makes sense if it is more secret, at least to me.

I've been dying to read this series. Kim Harrison is my FAVORITE! I've only found out about this about 2 weeks ago. I have to start this series. :)

If anyone's interested, I have a contest on my blogspot. I'm giving away a Hardcover copy of Kim Harrison's A Few Demons More!

Good luck!
