Chapter 13 introduces the Bloofer Lady, and for those who are not that far into the story, I won't spoiler. But she's a pale woman rumored to be abducting young children in London. These children are found with tiny pinprick bites on their neck, yet they went to the woman freely, and without fear. Hmm... Who do you suspect?

I think the book is much better than the movie. I have 3 kids on fall vacation so reading is at a snails pace
