Hellooooo Bite Clubbers! Soo...how many of you are practically crawling out of your skins with anticipation for tomorrow night's premiere? As am I lovelies. As am I. So let's talk predictions. It'll help us pass the time until our favorite show is back in full force. Let's begin shall we?

What can I say? I really want her to dump all the fangers and jump into bed with that sexy beast Alcide. Alas, things don't typically work out the way I want them to. So what will probably happen is she'll get caught up in yet another vamp power struggle but, I think this time around she'll be able to protect herself better because I'm assuming she's learning Fairy Kung Fu in whatever world she disappeared to. What? There's no such thing as Fairy Kung Fu? Dang it. *kicks rocks*

Oh Eric. We know he'll be dealing with witches and amnesia. But, will it be as yummy delicious as it is in the books? Oh please Alan Ball don't let us down! Well don't let the Bite Clubbers down. I'm not much of an Eric fan but, I know you guys are so I want him to do it justice for you.

If the previews are any indication it looks like they might turn Bill into an a-hole this season. I hope they don't. It's the one thing that always bothered me about the books. Looks like he'll be more involved in the vamp politics as well. That's never a good thing.

I think our dumb as a doorknob and hot as a frying pan Jason is going to be turned into a panther. I mean why the hell else would they be torturing him in the previews?! I hope they go full panther instead of half panther. Because honestly, I don't want to see what a half panther looks like. *shivers*

Our baby vamp is back and it looks like she's not into the whole playing nice thing. Something tells me that her and Hoyt's relationship is going to go through hell and back. Question is will they be coming back together?

I'm not a fan of the direction they took Sam's character in. That whole shady background thing doesn't work for me. I mean seriously! Killing your own brother. Sorry Alan, not seeing your vision on that one. I hope they steer him back on track. I wonder if he'll find someone to hook up with instead of pining over Sookie?

Tara, Tara, Tara. I really dislike saying this but, she's my least favorite character of the bunch. I just hope that they'll bring it down a notch with her. I can't take the constant bitter Betty thing.

I think our Lafayette is going to be in a bit of trouble this season. For one he's with Jesus who I personally think is a sneaky bastard. For two he's getting involved with witches who just so happen to be the bad guys this time around. I'm worried...

I am torn myself who I wanna see Sookie with I love Eric but Alcide is running a close second, I agree not sure if I want to see a bad Bill either.
I like Tara but she does get on my nerves as of late, she is driving off so I am wondering what she is gonna be like when she gets back?
I don't like the direction Sam is going either.

OMG!! I totally agree with you about Sam and Jesus! I hate the way they have messed up Sam's good guy character and I have thought from the beginning of the intro of Jesus that he was shady with a capital S! I am a 100% Eric fan, so I hope the Eric/Sookie relationship plays out well. I have also despised the way they have portrayed Eric (a little to vicious and vindictive then necessary). However, I do also LOVE Alcide (hot hot hot!!). It wont be long now truebies!
Great post! I have to say if the Eric storyline gets stuffed up I might just have to smash a few things. It's my favourite book in the series so I hope it's portrayed well. As for the rest, I agree, I HATE what they did to Sam's character, and I don't like the direction Tara's gone in either. She was one of my fave characters in season 1 coz she just didn't give a shit, and now she's all mopey. I mean, I know she's been through a lot but it's not fun viewing. I kinda hope she gets back on track and hooks up with Alcide.
I also don't trust Jesus, and hope nothing bad happens to Lafayette. I love Hoyt and Jessica together, I agree it looks like their relationship is heading to a rocky place but I hope they stick together.
As for Bill... he should just frak off to Peru. ;)
So this might be a dumb question, but does the show follow the books at all? I have tried to watch this series, but it's hard when my ten year old pops out of bed. I so want to jump on the wagon with all of you.
The show does follow the books in most major story lines, but takesvliberties with the characters. Like in the books Sookie is best friends with Arlene and only passing friends with Tara, but in the show that relationship is switched. Not sure why. Also, Layfayette is not in the books but plays one of the best characters on the show.
Those are just a few examples. Personally, I like both, but for different reasons. And I totally get how hard it is to watch...my 9 year old seems to have a variety of bedtime dilemmas on Sunday nights.
Just out of curiosity, have you read any of the books?

Manday - In the books I'm not a fan of any of them. On the show I'm an Alcide girl all the day. I hope he's doesn't become a jerk like in the books.
Belle - LOL! I hope for the sake of your stuff they keep the storyline the same. LAMO @ comment about Bill and Peru! Love it!
Rain Maiden - Not a dumb question AT ALL. It follows kinda the major plot points but it takes a lot of liberty with the details.
Anna - Agreed. Lafayette with one of the best characters on the show. Hands down.
