Veterans Day

I try to keep this blog 100% about vampires and vampire books, imparting none of my political or personal views because let's face it, we get enough of that when we watch the news. But as an active duty military spouse whose husband has served in Iraq it would be remiss of me not to take a moment to say Thank You to all the men and women that have served our country. I am grateful every day for the freedoms we have and I think often of those that have given the ultimate sacrifice. My family and I will be at Arlington Cemetery today for the wreath laying at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, paying tribute. I have included a link for those that may be interested in learning about the origins of Veterans Day.

I completely agree. I would love to be in Arlington just once to see that.

Thank you Veterans, past and present!

I agree as well. They all need our support.

Thanks you guys. My son was very excited yesterday because he got to watch my brother work (Honor Guard) at the WWII memorial and then he saw the President at Arlington. Both were lovely tributes to our Veterans.
