Best Newcomer to Vampire Fiction

I've been thinking about this for quite some time now. Who is my favorite new author for vampire fiction? There were so many good books out in 2009 and my list for favorite authors just keeps growing! After some serious deliberation I finally decided that Chloe Neill was my favorite new author for 2009. I had the chance to review Some Girls Bite for VampChix back in November and I fell in love with the Chicagoland Vampires. Here is just a small blurb from that review:

Look in the dictionary for the word stubborn and you'll find Merit, Sentinel, House of Cadogen! She may not have made the choice to become a vampire, but in the end, she owns it. The sexual tension between Merit and Ethan is positively electric. The tension just ratchets up a notch when Morgan, the Navarre House second, declares his interest in front of all the major Chicago vamps. I can't wait to see what happens next! The secondary character relationship with Mallory and Catcher is just another brilliant touch that leaves readers wanting more.

I cannot wait to read Friday Night Bites (out now) and Twice Bitten (July 2010). Chloe also has a new series that hits the stores January 5, 2010, so be sure to add Firespell to your list.

So now I want to hear from you. Who do you think is the best new author for Vampire fiction? What new author really blew your mind?

I've heard good things about Molly Harper and I'm hoping to start Nice Girls Don't soon.

Devlin and Quinn? I'm going to look them up. I think I have read a Devlin title and want to double check my memory:)
