Saturday Shout Out

Hey everyone! I don't know about you but the last few weeks have been hectic with a capital "H". The feelings of running around in circles, trying to play catch up, have left me reeling but I am so ready for the weekend. Lots to do! The weather is gorgeous and I plan on soaking up spring while I can, not to mention finally being able to tackle a few titles in my TBR.

My reading list for this week is:

1. Marked- I haven't even started our monthly selection so I need to do that first and get some questions ready. This is my first YA title...ever...so I'm really excited to get started. I've heard so many good things about this series.

2. Descent Into Dust- This is an ARC that I got for review and from the few pages I have read so far it looks pretty good. Gothic and dark. Look for the review on VampChix soon.

3. Magic To The Bone- Really like this one so far and hope to finish tomorrow. Then I can play stalker and scour her website for more books:)

What titles are sitting at the top of your TBR's? Have any recommendations for me? How many of you have already read Marked? What are your thoughts?

Aside from reading, how do you plan to celebrate the start of spring? Exciting weekend happenings? Don't forget to stop by on Monday for a contest!!

I haven't started MARKED yet, either, but I do intend to because I've also heard great things about the series. I love the cover with the curliques in black on it. I'm also reading EVOLVE, a vampire anthology, and THE QUEEN'S DOLLMAKER, and Mark Henri's BATTLE OF THE NETWORK ZOMBIES (as freakin' insane and hilarious as CHristopher Moore's stuff).

How to celebrate spring? I suppose I should dust the cobwebs off my tennis shoes and go out for a walk. Dogs in teh neighborhood, stay inside! I'm coming out and I don't like you barking at me. :-)

I am currently reading Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick. I am loving it...My spring cleaning requires me to get a skunk out from underneath my house..fun stuff.

Loved Marked! I have read all of the books so far! Great series and I can't wait for the story to continue.
I am reading The Deed by Lynsay Sands. I read her whole Argeneau series and LOVED it, so I decided to try a different type written by her.
Spring...Just trying to keep up with kids, college classes and reading my favorite books!

Rain Maiden- Hush Hush is on top of my wish list. The cover is stunning!

teresadmartin- A question for you: What type of discussion questions would you like to see for our marked chat days? I hope you come by for the chat and share your thoughts! BTW, Sands is one of my keeper authors but I haven't read The Deed. I'll have to look for it because I'm curious how she writes another genre. What do you think so far?

Yes, I have read "Marked" and I thought it was very good, the next few books were good...and then came "Hunted." It was strictly filler, and I am sad to say that I-gasp-didn't like it. "Tempted" is still sitting somewhere in my garage, collecting dust. Was anyone else dissapointed with the book? Does the story get better? Please answer my questions, because I don't want to just give up on the series.
