Good Times: Contest and an excerpt

Skyler has been super cool and generous to the Bite Club coterie and donated 2 copies of and Falling, fly! All you have to do to be entered in the contest is answer the following question in the comments below: What tattoo, if any, would you want to sport for all eternity?

To get you in the mood I've included a snippet from chapter one!

Excerpt from and Falling, fly:

The angel of desire is damned – at least that’s what my tattoo says. Okay, if I’m honest, it just says “dam,” with “ned” still only outlined in purple stencil. But twenty-first century angel that I am, I don’t give a fig for honesty. I want speed. If Ed doesn’t hurry, no lie I can invent will explain what he’ll start to see.

He begins the “N” and glances up from the black halo of letters whose half-circle crowns my pubic mound. “So Olivia, you wanna tell me the story?”

Tattooists are the new priests for the fucked-up and the thrown away. They speak the language of symbol, and administer penance in tiny metallic lashes. They hear confession; and Ed wants mine. Or he thinks he does. And for a minute, amidst the jumbled iconography of Celtic and tribal patterns, the pick-your-own pantheon of Saints Teresa and Betty Boop, I want to tell this handsome neuvo-cleric, bent in genuflection over my crotch, everything I am.

Do we leave the the answer here for contest? If not please let me know where to go. If so then here is my answer.
I would get an orange cat tattoo a small one maybe on top of foot or ankle and then some type of purple tattoo not sure what or where maybe flower or teardrop

I would get a cluster of stars on my right shoulder. Each star would represent a close family member (my kids, hubby, sister & parents). Each star would be shaded with their birthstone color. I've had this tattoo idea for quite some time. I plan to get it sometime soon.:-)

I would love to have a tattoo on the nape of the neck. I would love a unique design of swirls there.

If I had to get a tatoo, it would be a small heart over my own. But frankly, I don't think I'd ever get one.

I think I would go with a word. Or maybe a pictograph. Not a rose or heart or butterfly or anything like that.

I don't really care for tatoos and can't immagine I'd ever get one. For contest purposes, I'll say a very small angel, if I had to get one for all eternity!

I already have a tattoo. But if I had to choose another one to sport for all eternity it would be flowers for each of my nearest and dearest family members and friends. I'd probably place it on one of my sides, somewhere between my arm pit and hip.

Thanks for the giveaway!

Cool contest! I have a few already, but my fav is the simple 'believe' on my hip. I think that basically sums up everything for me. :-)

I'm not a fan of needles (aka, I'm a big chicken) so no tattoos for me. I think a henna tattoo would be cool though. Not sure what I'd get - maybe a small cross or heart or moon & stars...something simple.

I have two tattoos, both black cats. One is on my left hip done when I was stationed in England, other is on my right ankle done when I was stationed in Korea. I would love to get one more at least, tiger of some design, on my left shoulder.

I usually get one tat for each duty station- as my paycheck for tolerating the Air Force and being a fantastic military spouse:)

Only a few months left here so I need to gather up some money and find a shop.
