Where will you be March 12th and 13th 2011?

Well if you are in the Tucson area I hope that you will join me in attending the Festival of Books! I had the opportunity to attend a couple years back with my family and we had a blast. The event is crowded but well worth it and I cannot wait to visit again next year. I'm already making an author list so I don't miss anyone and I'll probably try to volunteer for part of the event. I'd love to see you there...send me an email if you plan on attending and maybe we can meet for a coffee, or a face to face book club, or hit the author tents together.

Here's some highlights from last year:

And here's just a few of the fabulous authors that are on the list to attend so far. So many favorites!!

*Marta Acosta
*Diana Gabaldon
*Jennifer Ashley
*Kim Harrison
*Sabrina Jeffries
*Julia London
*Cassie Ryan
*Vicki Lewis Thompson
*Charles de Lint
*Cheyenne McCray
*Sophie Littlefield

I know, can you believe it? And that's just a few of the amazing authors. For a complete list, click here.

How have I never heard of this? I'm going to say a tentative Yes to being there. It all depends on whether I can talk the Hubs into attending a book fair. Heh. I'd love to meet you!

Let me know if you decide to attend and we'll get together or something. Tell your hubs that he can hang out with my hubs while we do bookish things:)

Aww! I want to do bookish things with you guys and send the BF off with the hubbies.

Oh Jen, you absolutely should!! It's a crowded, hot mess at the book fair but we'd all have so much fun. So many awesome writers will be there too. And BF can play with the hubby group while we're away. Of course, my guy is on kid duty so that might not be as fun for the others but they are welcome to come on over:) Besides, Tucson is a cool place and Phoenix is just a couple hours away.

I'm totally going to research prices and stuff to see if I can pull it off. Although knowing the BF like I do the second I say book fair he'll probably go pale and 'remember' something he has to do that weekend.
