Sweetblood Contest for Embraced By Blood by Laurie London

Thanks to Roxanne at Bewitching Book Tours we have a promotion and giveaway as part of the Embraced by Blood blog tour for all our Bite Club readers. This is a wonderful new series and I'm thrilled to be bringing this book to your attention. I loved the first book, Bonded by Blood, which introduced readers to Dom and Mackenzie and I've been anxiously waiting for the sequel to hit shelves, or in this case, my Kindle library. I predicted that  Lily and Alfonso would be scorching hot, if their previous appearance was any indication, and I wasn't disappointed. Let's just say sparks will definitely fly! Look for my review in the next day or so.

About the book:

Deep within the forests of the Pacific Northwest, two vampire coalitions battle for supremacy—
Guardian enforcers who safeguard humanity and Darkblood rogues who kill like their ancient
ancestors.

Alfonso Serrano is a hunted man. For months he’s managed to elude the Darkbloods, vengeful
foes who won’t rest until he’s dead. But he still craves one dangerous temptation: Lily DeGraff,
the sexy Guardian agent he’ll risk anything to protect.

Lily is a wanted woman. Her talent for tracking Sweet-a rare blood type that’s addictive to
vampires-makes her a prime target for enemy capture. Her only hope is the stealthy vampire
operative who stole into her bed...then left her in despair. Danger aside-Lily won’t let Alfonso
near her heart again-until an irresistible hunger draws them back together...and into an assassin’s
snare.

And now for the contest!! Thanks to Laurie London and Bewitching Book Tours I have 1 signed copy of Embraced by Blood and 1 set of Sweetblood Trading Cards to one lucky reader!!!

So here's how it works: The vampires in the Sweetblood series have a very interesting mythology, such as eating food, and I want to know what "human" trait would you want to retain most? So leave a comment, and an email if one isn't easily located in your profile, and you will be added to the contest. One winner will be chosen at random.

*open to US shipping only
*contest will run until July 8 and the winner will be announced the following day

I don't want to give up anything, but if i could only keep one this it would be...sleep. In some of the books nowadays the vamps don't sleep - I love sleep, so that's what I'd have to keep.

Good reading ~ Escape by Fiction :)

I wouldn't want to give up food. What would be the point in living forever and staying slim if you couldn't enjoy food. LOL

Well it depends...if a human trait is having a sense of humor than hands down I would not want to give that up. ;) Otherwise I could live without the food but drinks would be a must have!

I think it would be great to still be able to eat and drink, especially desserts - and not gain any weight. That would be awesome.
