Contest and Promo: Surrender the Dark by L.A. Banks
National bestselling author L.A. Banks's electrifying new paranormal series is set in a sizzling world where Dark and Light are trapped in an eternal struggle for the fate of mankind.
In, SURRENDER THE DARK, Celeste Jackson has fought all her life against a fog of hallucination and substance abuse, but it's not until she meets her protector, Azrael, an angel who has left the safety of the Light, that she learns of the evil forces that have been trying to ruin her, and why. A fierce battle for control of the mortal realm is brewing, and only Celeste—with the help of the Remnant, her half-human, half-angel brethren—can stand in the way. Together, Celeste and Azrael must gather an army of sensitives to defeat the dark powers that have ruled humanity for centuries, but time is running out. If Azrael surrenders to his growing desire for Celeste, he risks being trapped among humanity forever. But the longer he stays, the harder she is to resist. To save the world, Celeste must draw on her own dark experiences with addiction to help Azrael overcome the one temptation that could possibly make him an eternal prisoner—his obsession with her.
Conquer the Dark, book 2 in the series, will hit shelves in September.

ANGELS ARE IN DUE TO SUPERNATURAL TV SHOW ITHINK. MY DAUGHTER THINK CASTIAL IS HOT . PLUS ITS A GOOD OTHER PARNANORMAL THING TO WRITE ABOU
I HATE BEING FIRST COMMENTER
I think the fallen angels idea first came up when they appeared on the TV series Supernatural. First it was demons, and now the angels.

Angels are mysterious and being able to fly in pretty amazing. Then the bad boys of that group is even hotter.

I think it is all about the choice. They have to choose to come down to earth, whether to be good or bad. That opens up alot of stories for them. I am glad to see they are being added as characters.

I think it is because everyone loves a bad boy. Fallen angels are inherently good, but have fallen. So exciting!!

I think it's because we are intrigued that the light can have a dark side.
Great giveaway!

Angels were bound to show up more in books after Supernatural. Who doesn't want to read about a being who is ultimately good but makes mistakes like the rest of us?

Sorry! Forgot my email in the first try.
I think fallen angels are making a splash because everyone likes a bad boy. And what's badder than an angel who has fallen?

I think it's because people (not me!) are getting burned out on vamps.

Fallen angels are the perfect combination of good + bad. (Kind of like we'd like to be!)
Email in profile. Thanks for sponsoring the giveaway.
I think fallen angels became popular because they were a cahnge from vampires and werewolves.

I think why fallen angels is making a big hit is because we all or most of us grew up to believe Angels came from God and Fallen Angels hail from the devil so at least for me I am interested in what each Author's take is on them.

I think fallen angels are making such a splash in paranormal fiction because many of us were raised believing angels were all pure and good. So to encounter a fallen angel makes you wonder, "hmmm so what did you DO to have fallen from grace?"

The general idea about angels is that they are perfect creatures of God. When they fall, it's obviously because they did something wrong, which of course means they aren't perfect after all and are more like us. That's what I think makes them intriguing.

Ooo-oo, everyone has given my ideas about Fallen Angels. they are good and bad and we all love that. popular now? Well those of us hooked on PNR can't seem to get enough.

I think castiel from Supernatural helped to make them popular right now. Besides that is just one more awesome paranorm to write about. I love L A Banks! Count me in on the contest please. bpatrick64113@sbcglobal.net
