Tucson Festival of Books

The Tucson Festival of Books is this weekend so if you are in the Tucson area and looking for something to do, with fun for the whole family...this event is well worth it. It's not just about books either: the Flandrau Center will be free for the event and there are many kid friendly activities planned throughout the weekend. Check the website for details.

Looks like I'll be cruising around with Flyboy and the kids on Sunday, but I might try to hop over tomorrow and go to the Jennifer Ashley signing. I'm making my plan of attack so we'll see how everything works out.

Where will you be March 12th and 13th 2011?

Well if you are in the Tucson area I hope that you will join me in attending the Festival of Books! I had the opportunity to attend a couple years back with my family and we had a blast. The event is crowded but well worth it and I cannot wait to visit again next year. I'm already making an author list so I don't miss anyone and I'll probably try to volunteer for part of the event. I'd love to see you there...send me an email if you plan on attending and maybe we can meet for a coffee, or a face to face book club, or hit the author tents together.

Here's some highlights from last year:

And here's just a few of the fabulous authors that are on the list to attend so far. So many favorites!!

*Marta Acosta
*Diana Gabaldon
*Jennifer Ashley
*Kim Harrison
*Sabrina Jeffries
*Julia London
*Cassie Ryan
*Vicki Lewis Thompson
*Charles de Lint
*Cheyenne McCray
*Sophie Littlefield

I know, can you believe it? And that's just a few of the amazing authors. For a complete list, click here.
