We’re getting closer to the premier of the Vampire Diaries… Of course, we all want scoops about Damon kissing Elena… or was it…?

***Again... Possible spoilers for those who haven't read the books/seen the series***

Ian Somerhalder confirmed to Hollywood Crush that Damon thought he was kissing Elena and when he learns it was actually Katherine it won't be pretty. "I can definitely say that when he finds out it was not Elena, he will not be happy and he’s most likely going to blow his top — whoever is around is pretty screwed," Ian stated. I have to admit I was crushed that it wasn’t Elena that Damon was kissing… Guess I just chose a team… hmmm....





In relation to the season premier, writer Julie Plec teases us with, “We do the meanest thing in the world, which is, we tee it up exactly to where we left off, and then we just rewind just a few seconds and show what happened in the moments between where we left and before Katherine did what she did to Uncle John.” I actually like this, even though it is a little mean, and it takes a little time away from the new stuff that I’m so anxious to see, but we do get to see the kissing scene again…




In an interview with E! Online, Paul Wesley gave several scoops on the upcoming season. When asked how Stefan is dealing with Damon’s and Elena’s kiss he says “For me, I'm brokenhearted about the kiss between Damon and Elena. Because as sociopathic and malicious as he is, and maybe a murderer, he knows that I love him. It's the worst insult. At this point Stefan doesn't empathize as much or care. He's more like, you know what, I'm not going to deal with this guy.”

Paul thinks Stefan is a little conflicted about Katherine. When asked about her (Katherine) returning for Stefan, “It's a mix, he thought he was in love with Katherine at one point, she's the person who is responsible for his immortality. It's heavy. He meets her with disgust and at the same time a little bit of interest.”



I have to say that I’ve been very curious to see what’s going to happen with the werewolves this coming season. In an interview with MTV Michael Trevino and Vampire Diaries creator Kevin Williamson, said that the wolves will be very realistic looking — probably because they're using real wolves. We're going to be using real wolves that we are auditioning right now." They also reveals that he (Tyler) will complete a full transformation during a full moon but it won’t happen till episode 8 or 9. "I'm not really sure yet where he will actually go through the transformation, but a lot leads up to that. It's a very multi-layered curse,"
