Movie Quotes: Zombieland

Columbus: [after his neighbor changes into a zombie] You see? You just can't trust anyone. The first girl I let into my life and she tries to eat me.
Tallahassee: I'm not great at farewells, so uh... that'll do, pig.

Columbus: That's the worst goodbye I've ever heard. And you stole it from a movie.

Columbus: The first rule of Zombieland: Cardio. When the zombie outbreak first hit, the first to go, for obvious reasons... were the fatties.

Tallahassee: [Searching for Twinkies] Where are you, you spongy, yellow, delicious bastards?

Tallahassee: Hey, a little help with movin' the couch. We're makin' a fort.

This is one of the best zombie movies ever and I probably should have just put half the screenplay up for movie quotes. I didn't even get to Bill Murray! Any thoughts on his movie? Favorite characters? Best lines?

I really liked this movie. I think I even liked it more than my son did. I can't wait for the sequel to it.

Haven't seen this one. Is it funny like Shaun of the Dead?

'Hop in the car, Evil Knievel. Let's go ride the rollercoaster.'

LOL...love this movie! Even if it's got a Michael Cera imposter.

@debbie: There's a sequel coming?

@Michele: It's like Shaun of the Dead without the accents. Good stuff!

Great post Anna!

Yes, they are supposed to start filming next year. The whole cast (minus bill murray) said they would be in it.

Was a really funny movie. Loved it when the crazy chick in his apartment wigged out on him. She got super gross.

There were some funny bits, and everything Woody did was great. But I really disliked this movie for the continual stupidity of the characters. It stretched my ability to accept the movie beyond the breaking point. Things like parking a zillion blocks from where you are going, or turning on all the lights at an amusement park and attracting the zombies? Gah.

Shawn of the Dead, however was a marvel of fun.

I'm glad we're talking zombies, because we'll be reviewing some zombie books in the coming weeks. I actually stepped out of my comfort zone and read a zombie book called BRAINS: A ZOMBIE'S MEMOIR. It rocked in a seriously, twisted, brain-eating way.

@writtenwyrdd: You bring up valid points. I figured it was outlandish because it was suppose to be more comedy than horror.

@Michele: Woohoo for zombie week! They scare the buhjeezus out of me but, I still like reading books and watching movies about them.
