Contest for No Mercy: What's Your Sanctuary?

Live fast, fight hard and if you have to die then take as many of your enemies with you as you can. That is the Amazon credo and it was one Samia lived and died by. Now in contemporary New Orleans, the immortal Amazon warrior is about to learn that there's a worse evil coming to slaughter mankind than she's ever faced before.

Shapeshifter Dev Peltier has stood guard at the front of Sanctuary for almost two hundred years and in that time, he's seen it all. Or so he thought. Now their enemies have discovered a new source of power- one that makes a mockery of anything faced to date.

The war is on and Dev and Sam are guarding ground zero. But in order to win, they will have to break the most cardinal of all rules and pray it doesn't unravel the universe as we know it.

Check out this trailer! I'll admit that I don't usually jive on book videos but this one isn't so bad and Dev is looking pretty good to me. It's worth the 30 seconds for sure. Let me know what you think! Book trailers? Yea or nay?

Many a Kenyon fan has said that that they have found sanctuary in her books throughout the years. Her fans also know about The Sanctuary, the fictional New Orleans bar in the Dark-Hunter world. Avid readers will often say that books provide a great retreat...that the release of a new book from a favorite author can make one's day...that there's nothing better than suspending disbelief and allowing oneself to sink into a storyline or a fantasy world.

What's your sanctuary? Perhaps it's playing Rock Band on Xbox or settling into an episode of Star Trek. Perhaps you love spin class or heading to the park to sketch. Have your readers tell us about their sanctuary and why. Randomly selected readers will receive a copy of NO MERCY.

So there you have it. Leave me a comment sharing your sanctuary story and you could win a copy of No Mercy

Pesky rules:
*This contest is open to residents of the US and Canada.
*Contest will run until November 7th
*You must leave a comment sharing your sanctuary story to be entered in this contest.
*Please leave an email address if one is not located in your profile.

my sanctuary is simple books and music...specifically supernatural vampy books like the excellent ones done by ms. kenyon!

i love to read them curled up in bed while listening to meatloaf's bat out of hell albums...one, two, or three!

sometimes i'll go into sensory overload and put one of his dvd's in and play his concerts while i'm reading my dark hunter series! yummy! :)

Hmmm... a sanctuary is very hard to find when you live with 5 boys and a man. I would have to say that curling up in my recliner with a great book after everyone is in bed is my sanctuary. The peace and quiet is priceless!

My sanctuary is my home office - it's filled with my books, music, my desk and computer, and lots of things I've collected over the years. I spend more time there than anywhere else in my house.

My sanctuary is a huge comfy chair in my room by a giant window. When the kids see me hunker down with a book covered in the godz awful blanket that is oh so soft and fuzzy they leave me alone to read for an hour or so. So that makes my own sanctuary to read in ;)

My sanctuary is my grandkids. If I need to escape from worries for a while they can always take my mind off my troubles. They are the light of my life.

My sanctuary is reading in my favorite recliner, in our light-filled den. I may be reading my books, quietly, or reading to either of my two (less-than-quiet) grandchildren. Works both ways. Thanks for a great contest. (Email in profile.)

I have a craft room/office where I spend most of my time, so as long as I'm in here with my computer and tunes I can escape. Nothing like loud heavy metal to take me away!

My sanctuary is my study where all my books and my comfy couch are located. There is nothing better than getting lost in a book!

My santuary usually is a book. It always takes me away to a different place to get out of reality for a little while. If I'm really wound tight I go do Zumba. So dancing and music help me too. Thanks for the cool contest.
